This watercolour wedding invitation was one of my favourite projects to work on and has become one of my favourite designs. My bride had ordered a sample of my watercolour roses wedding invitations and wanted to have the same styling and layout but with new watercolour flowers and foliage. I love an excuse to get my watercolour paints out! Very relaxing and satisfying.
We decided it would be nice to include some of the flowers from her bouquet to fit nicely with her theme. She also wanted to include more foliage than the original design. I think the finished invitations have a much more delicate feel than the original design and works really nicely.
She also wanted to include a map on the information card so I designed a very simple map using the same handwritten font used on the invitations and with a little illustration of their wedding venue.
If you would like to have a watercolour wedding invitation using your flowers as inspiration then please don’t hesitate to get in touch. I got a new set of paints the other week and I’m keen to try them out!
