Metallic wedding inspiration

metallic gold wedding invitation and stationery

Metallic wedding themes are set to be a hot choice in 2017; already popular now and not just in using traditional gold colours. We are starting to see bronze and copper being used and rose gold is still a popular choice.

The above image is of one of my latest designs, bold metallics. It uses a lovely antique gold paint to finish the design off. It’s a simple but bold design and can be done using other metallic finishes.

The ideas here show a bit less of the glitter and sparkle but lots of strong metallic sheens that look very sophisticated.

The above image shows a lovely table display with lovely light pampas grass and simple flowers in lovely copper coloured vases. The tableware itself is also copper coloured. I really like the simple idea of spraying your wine bottles with a metallic spray. These bottles look great especially with the hand written label on and with a lovely champagne gold colour. The final image shows just how well you can mix rustic and gold. The Kraft paper of the favour looks great with the gold of the doily.metallic wedding ideas

Mason jars are still a firm favourite for wedding decoration and this sprayed jar looks gorgeous, especially with the glitter dipped finish at the bottom of the jar! Perfect for your metallic wedding.

A bold choice for your bridesmaids are these metallic and shimmery dresses. I think the mix of styles and tones looks great in this photo.metallic wedding ideas

I didn’t think I would like gold on a cake but this simple cake in the middle looks really sophisticated. I like the simple flat gold finish on the bottom tier and the addition of berries keeps it all very simple and lovely.
