Marsala wedding colour schemes are very popular at the moment. Named after the deep pinky purple fortified wine, Marsala is a lovely rich colour that can give a very classy luxurious feel to your wedding. Here’s just a few ideas for how you can achieve the look.
These pretty cake ideas shown above show how you can either go quite bold or use more muted tones with a few pops of marsala. I really like the muted pink colour on the first cake shown above it looks lovely with the soft pink flowers and the deep pink flowers dotted around. The dark pink macarons look amazing too, perfect for scattering around a dessert table or surrounding the base of your wedding cake.
I have recently launched my new Marsala Floral design which uses a lovely mix of pinks and greens. The colours are bold but the elements are nice and simple. I’m not usually a fan of such a strong bold pink but I’m very pleased with the final result. The simple grey ribbon ties the invitation together nicely. The design can be done in any colour scheme so please contact me for more information.
The marsala bridesmaids dresses shown above, look lovely and really make the white of the bridal dress stand out. You could always go for a mix of muted tones and marsala pink for the bridesmaids dresses and mix it up a bit.
The copper colours used for the table decorations and the classic glassware go really nicely with the pinks and greens.
I think marsala works really nicely with lots of green foliage and ivory colours. I really like the floral bouquet in the last photo as it has lots of lovely green foliage in with hints of bold pink, a nice subtle way to include marsala in your colour scheme.
