Geometric styling is very popular at the moment, especially when teamed up with metallics. Not only is it popular in home decor and fashion but in wedding styling too. It gives a super modern and very stylish look to a wedding and is relatively simple to achieve. I’ve put together just a few ideas to help you achieve your geometric wedding!
One of my latest designs uses a geometric pattern and a lovely mix of gold and mint blue. It’s a simple, clean design which looks great in a variety of colourways.
I really like the simplicity of the origami favours / place settings especially in these colours. A simple idea that could work well if you’re on a budget and happy to experiment with some origami! The geometric bronze / gold candle holders would look lovely at a garden wedding and can also mix with a rustic theme.
More origami in the above image and looks great as hanging decor above this beautifully styled table. These would tie in nicely if you also made the origami favours shown in the previous image. The colours work very well together in this photo.
I think a geometric style cake is quite hard to acheive. When I searched for ideas, a lot of the cakes I found were a bit too forced. Triangles and shapes cut out of sugarpaste and very intense colours and shapes. I think the cake shown here has a nice balance of the geometric styling whilst still being quite simple.
I really like the backdrop shown in the photo with the bride and groom. It has a very modern, stylish look to it and works great in photos. It looks like it was made using folded coloured card to create a 3D effect.
The table decorations in the last photo are very pretty. The lovely dark blue looks really good with the metallic gold and there’s a nice mixture of styles without being overly ‘geometric’.
