It was a delight to be back at Caswell House for their spring open day last Sunday. There was a lovely atmosphere and I think everyone from guests to staff and their suppliers had a great day.
They welcomed 450 guests through their doors and I didn’t really get chance to sit down in the first couple of hours. I chatted to some lovely brides and grooms and their entourage.
It’s always nice to get feedback on my designs and get a feel for what brides and grooms really want. I often feel quite isolated sat in my little studio creating my designs with only myself (and sometimes my husband or children) to judge whether a design looks good or not. A few people have said how nice it is to see clean and simple designs as opposed to the sometimes quite fussy or busy designs that you get with traditional wedding stationery. I like my designs to be clean and it’s lovely to hear that other people agree with me!
I had two of my latest designs on display; a pastel coloured, watercolour roses design and a striped mint and gold design finished with gold foil. Hopefully these designs will be up on my website in the coming days and samples will be available to order.
The Caswell House staff are always so welcoming and helpful and they certainly know how to look after their suppliers. I would certainly recommend this exclusive barn wedding venue for anyone looking to get married in the Cotswolds. I am of course biased as I got married there nearly 6 years ago but I do know they have put on some exceptional weddings since.
If you missed this open day then don’t worry as they usually host another in the Autumn.
